friendly neighborhood........

 Spiderman!
This guy is going to hang with a co-worker's four year old son.  I couldn't find a pattern I liked, so I wrote this one myself.  When I get a chance I will type it up and share.

Bears!

One of my coworkers saw me crocheting while on my lunch break and asked if I could possibly crochet a black bear.  Apparently her four year old son is quite obsessed with black bears, not surprising as black bears *are* best.  I made one after the same pattern I used for my grizzly, but then decided a larger, fatter bear might be needed, too.  So, I winged it and made up my own black bear....
now I want my own black bear!

Mamabear and baby bear?

Lucy the Elephant

This is my version of Lucy the Elephant which I created as a gift for the newest member of our family, Keily's daughter also named Lucy!

Everyone needs an elephant in the garden, I'm sure.

what do you call a group of trolls?

They're not really a gang of trolls....

Here are the two latest additions to the family.
I have ideas for more, but this is the the whole troll clan for now.

a hurry up and post already post

I need to get these pictures posted before the new semester swings into high gear.  I'm officially full-time this time around.  I'm officially nervous about the workload, too!  Kait and Miranda are also getting started on the spring semester, so we're getting our schedules worked out for classes/talking time. All three of us full-time college students, gasp! If Kait and I don't get some discipline about going to sleep, we're both going to be some seriously sleep-deprived students!

This is another ladybug for Julia.  This time, however, I made the pattern myself.  I think this one looks slightly less creepy than the last one.  Julia says she liked them both, so I don't know. I wasn't thrilled with the last one.

This is Gunter from Adventure Time.  He's apparently pretty evil, though I think it just makes him cute. Bri seemed to think so, too!  I made this pattern, too.  One of these days I might write it down so I can share.

The unicorn from Despicable Me was for Bella.  It's so fluffy!!!  Free pattern here.

The hat looks better on Paisley, I think!

Twelve-point star I made for Paisley, also.

Swayze and Miranda showing some holiday spirit!

A blanket that is taking forever, but it's almost done!

A really really cute squirrel I made for someone because she has to have it but I never see her anymore, so he's mine until she comes to Millville again.

My dad being a hipster.  I'm genetically predisposed, you see.
Ross being Elliott Ness.
No.  Just...no.

Adipose!

It is fun to make things for people who like the same things as me.  Case in point, my boyfriend's sister, Joanna.  She likes Dr. Who at least as much as I do.  So what a great excuse to make one of the cutest little creatures from the show, Adipose!
He is adorable, even if he is a pound of body fat!  If you want to make an adipose of your own, the pattern is here.  I found it absolutely necessary to read her FAQ and errata post to finish the feet and confirm an error or two I noticed in the pattern.  A more persnickety person might have corrected the posted pattern, but either way, I love the results!  There will be more adipose in the future, trust me.

A moose for Ross

I made a little moose for Ross, since it is his birthday today and he's a fan of these oversized members of the deer family.  He worked up quickly and I think he turned out pretty cute.  I found a free pattern for him online, but can't seem to locate the link at this moment.  As soon as I find it, I'll add it to this post. *edit-Here is the pattern by aphid777.  It's a really sweet moose and I'm working on another one currently.

alien bunny

Apparently I cannot stop making bunnies of some sort.  You might call it an addiction, but it's a pretty harmless one as far as I'm concerned.  I wish the photos showed up the silver bits through the dark grey/black yarn better, but it feels very outer space'y to me.  Miranda doesn't like that.  Kait, on the other hand, begged for this one to be hers before he was even finished.  I kind of want to keep him for myself, because a grown woman needs a ton of stuffed animals everywhere.[1]
He seems a little sad.  Maybe he misses the stars.

Little Nicky

I felt like making something cute, but not too cute.  So, cute devil!
